Web log in: In addition to the mobile app, a website is provided. This website provides many of the same features as the mobile app but also includes features for: user updates, questions and answers, reminders, schedule update, training slide shows and a meal generator.
A sample of the website weekly weight diary is shown. You can input weight, exercise or meal information either at the website or on your mobile app. The website also provides a means to edit erroneous diary data or add missing diary data. The website is also convenient for entering diary data at days end for days where using the mobile is not possible. Finally, the web app makes the Type II Diabetes Prevention Module available to those without smart phones.
A key feature of the website is the ability to modify your meal and exercise schedule as shown.
Questions and answers are provided. Simply type your prediabetes related question into the box and if a match is made in our database, it is displayed!
The “Reminder Screen” will provide you reminders of any missing diary entries as shown. If you’d like to fill in the indicated missing diary data, simply select “Yes” to Add Record. You will be taken to the proper diary for input of data.
Educational slide shows with audio are available at the website. These 150 slides cover the general topics of Diet and Exercise, Using Web Tools and Using Smart Phone Tools.
By selecting the “menu for the day”, you can generate a menu! A sample is shown and provides foods, food pyramid type and number of servings for each meal.
